Bimmer in the States
Hi guys been away for awhile, just moved to a new state and had to leave my e30's at our old place till we find a garage in our new state. Thought I would share some pictures of my cars. The black one is a m20b27 with a powerdyne bd-11 supercharger and carbon fiber floor pans, bumbers and rockers an...

Air con and cruise control are rare in your parts? Here in the states it is hard to find them with out. I had a moonroof, black head liner, lighted mirror, tweeters, air con, cruise, metric wheels, rear trunk liner, large tool kit, long range fuel tank, factory CD head unit and factory cell phone in...

yeah it is mostly the top edge of the ports that need to be inlarged. In fact you are better making them slightly larger then the intake port.

Re: Electric power steering pump
Interesting, i would like to see someone that has done this. siddiqi: the advantage is that there is less drag on the motor from the power steering pump. You shouldn't expect to free up much if any power. as the power steering pump is really only putting a strain on the motor when parking or making ...

Most of my cars do this when the power steering pump is not running. Make sure your power steering fluid is topped off and i wouldn't worry about it, that is fairly normal.

Re: suspension help for cabby
you have to order the shocks to match the strut housings in the front. There are two types a 50mm and a 45mm. Some 318s had 45mm and some had the 50mm, you would have to messure to be sure. As for springs you would be wise to use the 325 springs in the front as i have heard the spring rate is stiffe...

Re: E30 wheels: Center Bore issues
Yes center bore is 57.1mm as the hub is 57mm I would recommend you get wheels that fit correctly and don't use the hubcentric rings. I have noticed that over time they go out of round and cause balance issues. i know others have never had problems with them but imho if it's not the right size to sta...

i found this on real oem the LHD linkage uses a 54mm arm stock all you need is to buy part number 61611370799 it is number 4 on this diagram http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=1113&mospid=47309&btnr=61_0885&hg=61&fg=45 that would save all the welding and be bolt up. another thought is to ...

I don't know about you guys in the uk but I had an air bag on my 1991 325i, and my 1989 325xi. It was a four spoke wheel. I was rear ended in the 325i and the air bag never went off. What color to paint the e30?
My car started life in delphin gray metalic then i painted it britsh racing green. I'm now looking to repaint the car as new bumpers and m-tech side skirts will be going on. What do you guys think? OG delphin gray, black, or the green again. http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x260/bottlecape30/bmwpa...
