flywheel only.
usually you lighten the fly then balance the fly with the pressure plate bolted on.

so does this work?and which hoses do you use?
the information ive found on US forums is a bit confusing and mostly relates to late cooling systems
doing this as i need to clear some space for the turbo manifold/dump pipe

yeah but has anyone tried it? i would probably be using a 2.5" downpipe and would be happy with a tight fit, has anyone tried it?

Re: pedalbox/brake linkage recondition? 250k miles
ok ive shortened it to the point where the clevis? perfectly lines up on both ends with the pedal at stock height. play seems a tiny bit better but i might be imagining it. there is still some free play however it is better than before. Would i want to take it further and start to put pressure on it...

One end of 11 has a reverse thread, so turning it changes its length. WHAT?? thanks :D guess i should take time to read. now i am probably going to get my arse kicked or be shunned for being this stupid buuut.. To reduce the play i would want to extend the linkage out so that the pedal linkages are...

Re: pedalbox/brake linkage recondition? 250k miles
is the rod threaded on both sides? like wouldnt that just thread the rod out of one clevis(is that the word) into the other? my mate told me you want to take the pin out of one and dislodge it then spin the nut/clevis.
not saying you are wrong i just want to be 100% sure before i get into this.

Hi everyone
Has anyone attempted replacing all of the bushes/pivot pins? i assume that this is what is causing the play... i have about 2cm of linkage play (holding the master rod still thats how far the pedal can move.
Thanks

yeah the 855 head does flow well right up to ETA cam lift levels. but all i want is for the 323icam to have the same lift as the 325icam. not really fussed about the duration.

Hey all
Which cam is better suited to the 855 head? i got a AMC head for cheap but comes with no cam. i have spare barely worn 323i' cams but no 325i cam. its a low comp so no real point going as high as 272.
Does the 323i cam have less lift?

Re: *SOLVED* i have a 325i manifold worth porting head?
2.5 heads cost $600 motors ~$1300 here. and thats bargain prices.
and the 855 PORT is much larger than 731. but the 855 MANIFOLD port is the same size as 731 it seems.
and that is a ETA manifold you have there.

Hey all I have two options for the inlet side 320i manifold + 325i tb (allready using on my 323) 325i manifold + 325i tb (would require $$ porting) Roughly how much porting is required to have a 855 port on a 731? or do you just match it to the 325i runner and shave some of the 731 gasket off in the...

Hey all
ive got about 1-1.5" of play at the pedal from the linkage that goes from the pedalbox to the booster, anyone got tips on how to recondition the setup? would it just be the pins that need replacing or would the linkage itself be worn too?

yeah the e30 one does look an awful lot longer where the hub thing is.
Hopefully either the pinion part is removable from the hub or the ratio is decided by the rack.

Hi all,
just wondering if a low mount turbo setup is possible for m50's in e30's. if its not that hard to do ill skip on ordering the a/c parts (looking for an excuse not to fix the aircon lol).
thanks
