The 6th gear is quite nice in the motorway and certainly helps with the mpg. The 325i touring we had was a 5 sp and only once did I get 32mpg whereas the 330ci we have has seen 37mpg average going to North Wales from Broxburn. And the SE spec e46 3 series makes it look like you want a sport but cant afford one lol. Am only kidding. I just thought the sport looked a little better. Ive got a 330Ci 6 sp sport, great cars bit tubbier than the e30 I had but a lot of fun. Wouldnt have one unless its a sport, better seats, thicker steering wheel etc nicer inside. Its £10 per person to get into Crail then a further £15 to get on the 1/4 mile per car for the full day. Gates open at 9.30am, track opens at 10am and you cant get a print out of your times till 2pm I think. Hope this helps.
