Hi to all Fitted m52 to E30. Temp gauge on dash does not work, no flickering of any kind,just moves very slightly and nothing more. I've checked a few things so far. Same question as above EWS makes no clicking noise. how do i fault find this problem.

EWS has been fitted as per diagram on this site. i've checked all cables for contineuity.

Should it work alone or does it need data from ecu.

Hello again iam using the key with chip still inside taped too the antena.No click heared .Fault codes for ews,air temp sensor and no pulse too injectors.thanks for all the help

M52 2.8l has been dropped into an E30.

engine turns over - fuel pump primes but wont start. Fault codes show EWS and air intake temp.

injectors have voltage but no pulse.

The colours are diferent on the e30 conector. Should I just match up the pin numbers and ignore the colours.
