ive been thinking of getting one, but luckily havent had any sump issues up until now! fingers crossed! lol

what about fitting a sump protector mate? sure rpm in the traders section on here do them? just a thought

I went on sunday and hadn't realised the zone was doing a stand! see all the E30's parked up and looking mint! good show all in all

Brian your a true gent! thanks so much for all the help it is truely appreciated :D just one very small bit im a tad confussed about is here cut the black/purple wire to pin 8 of the switch a couple of inches from the switch, then to splice the 2" bit from the switch to the brown wire from pin 2, so...

Right I've just been outside and tried the above and by bridging pins 8&2 the it all jumps into life

so does this mean the switch is at fault?

yep just been out to check mine again, as above really, left hand gives timed wipe as it should, but right hand side does sweet f.a, even with the left button depressed! which im pretty sure from memory didnt have to be depressed to work the wash wipe facility, but thanks for the input and helpfull ...

yeah i think i paid about 70 pounds a couple years back, but id say it still aint to bad when you think about it mate, 40 quid per arch for someone to come out to your own palce, saving you the trouble and hassle of finding someone local going to them and sitting waiting for it to be done when you c...

ive used these guys in the past mate, www.archenemy.co.uk they come to you to do the work and very reasonable pricing as well i think.

got mine from HIDS4U spot on dan! only thing that bugs me with hids on the e30 (well mine at least lol) is that you cant really have the side lights on anymore as they either flash like crazy! or if you disconnect the resistor in the ns inner wing as suggested in other threads, the side lights work ...
