Hi all Just about to change the blue temp sensor of my 88 318i saloon m40b. Its just that I cant find it? It not where it is on the picture in the haynes. Hi All Please can anyone advise, i am at my wits end with my 1988 M40 e30 saloon. Had the car some time now and its deteriorating badly. Tick over very lumpy and it bogs down under light load. Hi All
I am after prices/ supplier for a dizzy cap and rotor arm for a 318i E30 1988 E reg saloon please? Also may need a thermostat as heating is intermittant so is probably sticking.

Hi sihooker Not that this means much but its got fresh clear oil, a shiny filter, and new air filter. Its also very clean under the bonnet, in a very fussy sort of way. I guess the previous owner was quite fastideous with a heavy foot and deep fuel pockets, but servicing does look regular, its just ...

Hi All New to this forum, but recently bought a 1988 318i with M40 engine (120K), and really enjoyed it. I have technical issue that I could do with some seasoned advice though? From cold the car starts well, ticks over well, but there is a nasty flat spot at almost the lowest point in the rev range...
