Re: New member, new car
Fitted the new exhaust yesterday but it seems really tight, the tailpipe is touching the rear valance. Maybe it's the cheap pattern backbox I bought! Today I was going to start it to reverse it into my garage to start on the front end and it would seem the fuel pump has packed, I get 12V at the pum...

Can you start it by carefully turning the end of the lead ( where it would join the ignition barrel)?
If not perhaps test crank position sensor for resistance on a multimeter,?

Re: E30 Sunroof drips
I’ve used electric cable to try and clear by pushing upwards from the end of the drain hose in the boot.
The drain hose are held on tight by metal clips. If you need pics just ask as I’ve got the headliner out of mine to check mine out….

Nice, be good to see how they turned out, I have hit a dead end on mine because I wasn’t sure on how to go about it (long term slow burn project it seams!) at least now I can see a relevant video to the model I’m dealing with… I’ll view the vid shortly.. thanks

Are you using e5 regular unleaded?. I’d Change fuel filter, clean and regap plugs run on super unleaded . Had running issues years back on 318i and seemed to help.

Re: The Red MTECH II Touring drawn out resto
Yummy, have de ja vu vision of mine. For the valance, hillbilly way could be to chop the rust out and the Mtec bumper remains.
The upper bit panels could be got or made.
Can we have a photo after hammertime, here’s my inner wheel arch, I was a bit keen to find solid metal….

New Cheap ones do pop up on eBay from the cheaper parts companies. As long as it’s the right type as in if you have rear discs you get a rear disc type hub.
