yes,very time consuming , if you want it to run the same way as an e46 m3 dose.

the s54 engine is approx 2 inches shorter than a m30 engine and is also lighter.

no the fan has never touched the rad even after hard braking from very high speeds.

thanks for all the nice replys , for full spec see performance bmw mag in october as it will be in there. this car run full e46 m3 engine , fly by-wire throttle , sports button from z4 m coup , brakes disc from e46 m3 calipers from 840. as for the fan being close to the radiator its not a problem as...
