Re: Price Please - Mini R57 Switch Multifunction Steering Wheel

Thanks Jon - I've sent the money for the multiswitch via paypal. Are there any of the repeater cover options still available?

Perhaps Checkered 51130432572 or union jack 51130432570

Thanks

Thanks

Price Please - Alpine Stereo Upgrade

Hi,

Can you let me know if it's still possible to get the Alpine speaker upgrade for the E82 135i and how much does it cost?

It's for a 2013 135i coupe with the base speakers and professional head unit Reg: IUI929.

Thanks in advance

Re: New Blaupunkt Bremen

I'm using a splitter with mine and have been using previously with a Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB and Pioneer 8700. Was always good enough for me but to be honest I pretty much only use Internet radio through streaming now so less of a concern.

Compomotive TH 1680

This is a long shot I'm sure but if anyone has a set of Compomotive TH 1680s in 4x100 ET 25 then I'd be interested.

Always loved the look of them on the Diamond Schwarz 320is.

F20 iDrive problem

Asking on behalf of a friend - he's got an F20 116i with a dead iDrive - essentially it won't boot. Reading round, there's a possibility that replacing the head unit would solve it. My question is - is it as simple as that? I took the dash apart to get to the unit and check the part number. 20200704...

For something like that I would drive a bit further round the M25 and take it to Barry at BMR.
Thanks - agree Barry's likely the place to go - was wondering if there was something closer to home.

E82 135i Coding Cruise Control

Hi, I've got a 2013 e82 135i that annoyingly doesn't have cruise control. It does look like retrofitting is pretty straightforward. I've found the replacement switchgear on ebay, there's a lower cowl that I need to replace and removal and refitting looks reasonably straightforward. The thing that i ...

Hi,

I'd like a price for an e82 Trim panel, steering column, bottom 61316950263

I'd also like the screws for this as well but can't tell from the parts diagram which ones / how many there are.

Thanks in advance

I replaced the batteries in the alarm module under the bonnet in this thread below. It's still working well - does get upset if i let the battery go flat but the car is kept on trickle charge. I've not got the window closure but do have central locking. Best of luck! https://www.e30zone.net/forum/vi...

Re: Any Apple repair specialists here?

My wife has a 2009 27" imac - they're easier to work on than you might think - a couple of suction cups and the screen comes out quite easily. HD failed last year and replaced with SSD - it works really well now so definitely worth a little investment in research and time if you can.

Re: New Blaupunkt Bremen

Do these units require a working aerial? :? They do for the DAB/FM radio but I tend to stream everything now anyway so you could get away with it if you wanted. I've got a DAB splitter running from the hirschman aerial on the car so haven't got a separate DAB aerial on the windscreen or anything.

Seriously tempted with this, bit of a shame it can't stream via Bluetooth but looks fantastic. It does have a BT module so I thought you could stream to it, I am also tempted but may wait a while to see if the price comes down as its £399 at the moment. So much want on this one. I've got a Pioneer ...

135i coupe manual or dct?

I’m after a 135i coupe, budget around £15k so should get a good one hopefully.

Question is are DCT gearboxes safe enough to buy without a bmw warranty or am I better off sticking with a manual?

Can the dct gearbox be worked on or are the 5 figure horror stories true?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure if you got this solved - I had to get a battery made up for mine a long time ago. It was made up of 6 varta cells or something then desolder the old one and resolder onto the new one. Of course there were pictures of it as well before photobucket changed their rules. Here's the thread - it ...
