cool so both m20 dizzy and leads are compatible with m30
the choice of m20 aftermarket leads are plentiful compared to the m30
and genuine one are silly money so i hear

To clear this up as it confused at least two of us
I used 328 manual prop with e30 centre bearing !
E36 centre bearing is too wide for the e30 trans tunnel

So jus did my swap It started :D Car was 4pot 318is ( rpm gauge was rev happy on start up) This wasn't my problem as I sourced 6pot 325 clock with correct plug in ! I replaced all cluster bulbs carefully one at a time avoiding any mix up , so they were nice and fresh :mad: This is where my problem h...

Just built mine to the same spec you mentioned ! Single mass,e28 535 Sachs clutch (sprung clutch) and pressure plate E30 325 clutch slave Note : I got shorter bolts from main dealer for single mass fly also a shim/ spacer I pulled part numbers from Realoem.com when searching e28 535i manual Hope tha...

I don't believe the blk/brown pin 15 from engine loom of c101 does go to 8mm on starter as the only wire connected here is blk/grn ! So I will pull pin out from body/fuse box c101 Then extend wire and put on 5mm (8mm nut) of starter solenoid ! So I am correct in thinking that blk/brown and black/gre...

yes guys the starter pictured is the same as mine and is a bosch item
also engine and loom both from 91'e34
I also have connections at 9 & 3 o'clock can't be sure on colours until this evening

1.yes starter has 3 terminals
2.m30 engine loom has small insulated wire with ring and is already fitted to 8mm nut
unsure on colours check tomorrow night
3.body side has wire in pin 15 (grn/blk)
am i aready done jus connect body and engine c101

It's just one wire I know , but I am still unsure
Do I remove pin 15 from c101 plug engine loom or fuse box side ?
Or tee into it and run a wire down from the underside of c101 to starter

Cheers ! I stood and looked at 328 prop on the floor and could not see a the reason to flip it !
By eye it looked like it wouldn't really move the mounts to body on centre bearing forward or back

I am aware of rally prep in Cornwall Who supply a pair of clutches and dog ears ( standard 2.0 mm) unlike porka 2.1 This costs £130 for 2x clutch 2x dog ears I would need 2x kits :mad: £260 This is before I try to source 2.1 porka dog ears Or do I machine 3.8 or 3.6 mm use standard 2.0mm dog ears ! ...

So I am we'll into my m30 rebuild and when my missiz is watching big brother
I find myself on eBay searching and came across cheap rebuilt injectors for around £90 posted from the states
Any one renewed injectors or uprated and at what cost?
