Monaco and Italy in my 318is and a for sale plug.
Last time I wrote on here I was just back from a tour of Scotland and the Lake District. This time my other half and I have been to Monaco for the Historic Gran Prix followed by two weeks touring Italy and then back to Monaco for the F1. What a drive! 3,300 miles all in. We drove from Bolougne throu...

Re: 2,ooo miles in ten days.
Bad Dave's comment about the roads north of Glasgow ring so true. We have some lovely roads here in the south, especially over the Downs, unfortunately either too heavily trafficked, stupid effing "traffic calming" measures or scameras. I was considering a road trip to take in Monaco Historic Gran P...

2,ooo miles in ten days.
Hi all. For those amongst us who still love a good drive, might I suggest a trip to Skye. I am off work with a broken finger, now nearly fully mended and decided, having seen this months EVO magazine to follow in their footsteps (or wheel tracks). The drive from Portsmouth to Scotland was ok, but pa...

Photoshopping would be much easier if you had a pic of the wheel from directly in front as opposed to angled

TonyB, thanks for the kind words, pics don't do it justice, absolutely rot free, nice leather interior and over the past couple of weeks I've cured a few slight niggles so it all works!

Hiya polsta. Not sure where the burnt down beach huts are but I live about half a mile from where the photo was taken on Hayling. Your car and mine look very similarly tidy. Just need to get the underbonnet sound deadening and sort the mirrors out!

The three E30's. My 318is, my girlfriend Shelleys' 318is and my old, now sold on this site, 320. That 320 was used as my second car for the past five years, can't afford two cars now so am just running my is, and it's a cracker. Just been tinkering again and decided it could do with new sound deaden...

Hi Adit. I was over my mum's when you saw me, I actually live on Hayling. Not sure about the lip spoiler, my girlfriends 318is has the lip spoiler and she's forever grazing it on kerbs. Hers is lowered though on 15". I have been tinkering on it for a couple of weeks now and got it pretty much up tog...

Ah Snows! The downfall of my finances! I spend as much on cars as I do on housing! I reckon I spent £20k on the Covette, sold it for under £4k. Actually found Snows prices not too bad, bought a few bits and bobs there, but they aren't car people I've found. I don't think the guy who served me there ...

My 318is
Hello fellow E30 owners. I'm on my fifth or sixth E30 having previously had 320's. This is my first 318is, it's near mint with leather interior and a definate keeper. Been doing odd jobs such as getting the foglights working and fixing juddering wipers, many thanks to people on the site for the help...

Intermittent wiper probs
Hi all. I'm hoping one of the experts here may be able to help. I have a 318is and the wipers judder on intermittent. I've searched the forum and as suggested removed and checked the big relay to no avail. There is a link to wiper motor removal but that just takes me to the home page. I suspect I ma...

Hi,
Please can you give me a price if you are able to supply a gear knob and the panel below the steering wheel which houses the light switch. Many thanks.

Re: Headlamp wiper arms
Many thanks. Sorry to take so long to reply, busy buying a new house. I did flip the cap and undo the nut but the wiper arm seemed solid. A bit of wd40 soon did the trick though.

Headlamp wiper arms
Can any one please tell me how to remove the headlamp wiper arms on my 318is? I need to remove the arms to get the grill off to remove a headlamp, it's driven me nuts this afternoon. Any help much appreciated.
