Mine is screwed to the back of the rear seats,just under the load cover,hidden,and don't get banged when loading..Just remember its there when you fold the seats down and load stuff in!

I put 20 english in my 318 tourer and got 98 miles.I cant be bothered to work it out,but i dont think thats very good! I think it needs a service.

My daughter use to live at Denton close in botley and now lives in cumnor so i'm out your way every other week. Thanks willinz,i did have a little play with the throttle stop when i was trying to solve the bad idle issues i had,so i will try what you've explained and see if that's it.
I did think about the choke bobbin,but should it rev 1000rpm higher??

Ok, what was thought to be a knackered torque converter on my 318i '89'Auto turned out not to be,with thanks to spadge who sold me another icv.Gave it a clean and stuck it on and it solved all my grumbles,but now the car revs upto 2000rpm when starting from cold.Once upto temp the revs are good.Coul...

Chatted to another machanic today who said it is not the tc because when i dissconnect the icv everything is fine , although the revs do pick up but put it in drive and it just sits there ready to go with not pushing or stalling.I'm gonna get another icv and take it from there.

Cheers,it's not lazy at all,goes purfect and pulls up through evrey gear.And nothing wrong with reverse. i,ve cleaned the icv,checked all the hoses and replaced the throtttle inlet rubber cos that had a split in.Look elswhere you think?

Mine runs perfect and i've no oil leeks,tickovers a bit rough but it stays afloat at about 550rpm,the only problem is when i stop in traffic or at lights and leave it in drive,it just keeps pushing,nearly stalls and the mpg needle is having a fit!! i have to put it in (n) when approaching stopping,i...
