In the middle of this myself, and as well as taking the prop from the 320i you also need to take the shifter linkage and it should sit at the correct angle when matched up to the 220/240. Are you going to use your e38 loom or ditch it for an e36 item?

Bought goods from Brutus last week, they arrived today with probably the best packaging I've ever seen and the goods were even better than described. Postage ended up costing more than what i was charged for it and he still sent it on quickly and tracked. Will definitely be dealing with Carl again. ...

Old lock nuts
Hi all, just got my 83 320i back from "storage" and the wheels are going to need removing. The thing is it has these locks on three of the wheels but there is no key to be found, anyone know if these are BMW items? And if not any idea how to get em off?The car also had a full set of the old cap type...

Yeah that was my problem knowing how ridiculously easy it is for the rubber to damage,i used low to medium heat on it and it did nothing

Thanks Matt, have used linseed oil years ago and flamable is an understatement lol. I'll try and get some G3 (scratch remover i presume)and LO and give it a try

Sorry if this is in the wrong section. I have received a tech 1 spoiler that has had the rubber painted which is starting to peel off (in places but very much stuck on in others. Gotta ask ,what do these bare shells weigh around? anyone got any mount pics for a chromie spit? the front should be fine but i wouldn't like to put too much weight on just the 3 tiny holes on the back that the bumper mounts on

i hope your just referring to the baurs cause a standard 320i came with the smaller struts
i have 3 pre 85 320i 's sitting here already looking for bigger stuts. At least they have the bigger brakes already

Hi all, does anyone know what struts are n a 320i baur? it's a 1985 and i've the opportunity to buy it or what i want from it and just weighing up upgrade costs. I know the cabs have the 51mm struts but since the Baur is based on a regular saloon i presume the struts would be the same??? anyone know...

any update on this thread? Is it essential to run fuel injection or can the turbo be run with carbs successfully as well?
