Hand brake retaining washer

I've used this Delphi hand brake rebuild kit on one of my other cars but it did not come with the little retaining washers. On one of my other cars one of these little retaining washers are missing. Finding compatible kits for the rear disc cars is hard in itself let alone tracking one down with the...

Re: My Brilliant red 318iS road car

:D Thanks. I am in the process of figuring out the best way to sort the mess of the front light loom. This will be easy, however it is the radio/immobiliser wiring I am itching to rectify that fills me with horror :boom: I've bought a Nakamichi stereo from a friend and have very little ICE knowledge...

Do you have any light plugs with tails to solder into a damaged loom? Looking for half a dozen perhaps? Also after a nearside rear trim for a 3 door?

Re: My Brilliant red 318iS road car

I used to be so keeno at taking zillions of photos and I have been so lazy with it the last few years. The front valance on this car had been messed about with at some point as it didn't have the proper stone chip layer under the paint, it was a funny colour that was also falling off. The brake duct...

I back to backed my cars today. Race car pump is 240 LPH which is exactly what it should be. Also my other iS runs at around 2.6 bar fuel pressure also. So I'll have to keep looking.

Re: 318iS race car - NEW updates pg. 9!

So, two races down. Here is what I've been up to. Donington First race of the year, a lovely sunny East Monday at Donington Park. The site of my first ever race and we were back on the GP circuit so it would make for a good comparison to how I have progressed. Brands Hatch saw me knock 2 seconds off...

Re: Help me identify the low idle on cold start issue *Problem Found and Fixed*

I've actually got a high flow Walboro pump which I fitted so it was always over spec'd for the job, I am skeptical I have a flow issue as that pump is capable of running double the flow of a standard pump so it would have to be proper fucked if that as the case but I guess it isn't out of the realms...

Re: strut your stuff

hello all, Looking to order suspension for my 1988 320i. Want to make sure I order the correct strut size. I'm aware there were two sizes of strut on the car 45 and 51 mm. On e30zone wiki it says it has 51mm struts is this true of all 320i models? Can 51mm struts be fitted to cars with 45mm struts ...

Re: 2019 M42 parts checklist?

As far as I believe using the E36 loom shouldn't be a problem and you'd just have to follow the same instructions as when people fit the M50/52 engines for E36 but I am not at all clued up on that. Maybe worth speaking to DanThe and other serial E36 engine conversionists for advice there. Sure to sa...

Re: Help me identify the low idle on cold start issue *Problem Found and Fixed*

This has been an interesting read for me. I have an issue with my racing car where all of a sudden it started stuttering and being very hesitant under load (I couldn't not get it to stumble while static). I noticed my gauge was reading 2.6bar when running occasionally fluctuating up to 3bar but I wa...

Re: Production BMW Build 320 - RACING!

10bhp is a pretty strong gain from an exhaust. Blimey. Did you do a power run? A bit confusing how the car just let go like that? You should easily be able to take craners flat out mate. Lifting is probably what unsettled it but it sounded progressive or did you touch the brakes? Lucky it didn't rol...

Tomorrow is a 750MC start of season track day at Donginton on the GP layout. Weather looks reasonably promising. Bit of a curfuffle with the dampers after having them serviced.
