Afternoon all, just a quick question I ve got a 318i 1990 and a 316i 1990 but they ve got different fuel pumps. The 316 only has 1 fuel feed and the 318i has 2?????
I am trying to replace the 316 pump but am gettin prices of 200. is this right ???

Can someone point me In the direction of the bleed nipple on a 1990 318i ? I m told it's underneath the car near the bell housing but not a 100% sure what I m looking for! Cheers all

All sorted for the time being!! Thanks for the tip on fuse 11 brian. I ve replaced the fuel filter and all seems ok

Doubt you'll find a guide fella, pretty sure its just a case of undoing the bottom 2 bolts that hold the alternator on and "Sliding" to the right until you ve got the desired tension, Get ya self out side and ave a look, 2 min of a job.

Personally I think 18's would look the nuts, but like others said it would depend on your drop. Can someone explain why there are so many alphina rep haters? Is changing the alternator as simple as it looks? Three bolts and the connector?

alternator says the nice AA dude. E30s look wrong on the back of a breakdown truck

batterys 2months old so shouldn't be as for the altenater not a clue do they just go? Cars always started on the button before. Cheers for the reply tho
