Difference in fuel pumps
Afternoon all, just a quick question I ve got a 318i 1990 and a 316i 1990 but they ve got different fuel pumps. The 316 only has 1 fuel feed and the 318i has 2?????
I am trying to replace the 316 pump but am gettin prices of 200. is this right ???

Bleeding the clutch !
Can someone point me In the direction of the bleed nipple on a 1990 318i ? I m told it's underneath the car near the bell housing but not a 100% sure what I m looking for! Cheers all

All sorted for the time being!! Thanks for the tip on fuse 11 brian. I ve replaced the fuel filter and all seems ok

Just been back to the car and it started first time??? Anybody any ideas because as I ve now got It home, it won't start again ??? If the injectors where going surely they d just go? And not go intermittently ?

Little help needed here people, my brothers 316i has just started playing up. It's starts yesterday.... Doubt you'll find a guide fella, pretty sure its just a case of undoing the bottom 2 bolts that hold the alternator on and "Sliding" to the right until you ve got the desired tension, Get ya self out side and ave a look, 2 min of a job.

batterys 2months old so shouldn't be as for the altenater not a clue do they just go? Cars always started on the button before. Cheers for the reply tho

evening all, Just been sat in traffic for 30 min without moving and my car 318i started to lose power (electrical) dash lights very dim, radio not working wipers moving slow etc.. When I eventually got moving all was fine again. So just stopped for tea and the car won t start, I only left it 5 mins ...
