E30 Zone

Hello to you all, I am in need of some help from you nice people.... I've got a pierburg 2BE carb on my 316, 1.8 E30, but the automatic choke has broken. I've been trying to get hold of another choke unit but with no joy. Has anyone had this problem and found a cheap fix? I don't want to go down the...
