After a price for this part please, and would I be right in thinking it comes with a key?
Cheers, Myke.

That's totally amazing, loved every word and picture. What astonishes me, is the length that dedicated individuals will go to to add so much extra to a motor. Basically, that car looks the bees anyway, but to do all that to make it extra special, well mate, you deserve so much respect for that. And ...

Re: Just a few pics enjoy!!!!
With all the 17 and 18 inch rims you see shoved on the majority of cars nowadays, it's nice to see a british car with smaller rims. Normally reserved for the euro crowd's Golfs etc which seems to be forever popular, I gotta say I really like 'em and it's different on an E30 too. Car's superb budd, y...

I'm sure this has been asked before, I just can't seem to get the search function on the forum to work right now (it's my browser problem NOT the site itself I think, and i'm getting desperate to get this sorted!!) but can someone lend their knowledge base to me in regards to swapping my M40 318 to ...

Shouldn't you be posting this on the 430 owners forum? But then I'm sure they'd disown you if they knew you'd even been considering this?!

Re: 318i engine ticking!! help bmw newbie
Mine's definitely sounding more like Maxlee's, tinnier rather than lumpy, but i'd say they're all forms of 'cam-knock'. Am VERY surprised that yours is sounding quite SO Lumpy at 70 odd k BMWshed. Mine's done in the region of 150 odd! It doesn't so much as bother me as annoy me, especially when my S...

Re: 318i engine ticking!! help bmw newbie
Mine does the same too, just for my 2 pennies worth. I've been told it's 'normal' and not to worry about it, and even to "just turn your stereo up mate" ha ha, however, it's NOT normal and I would like to fix it as it's getting worse, louder etc and it bugs the hell out of me. Mine's a 1.8i 8v too a...

Ok well as much as I am a total fan of cute chics and E30's, and 80's rollerboots for that matter, which kinda lends it to Suchy's awesome pics, i'm affraid that sticking with the theme and the interpretation, it's gotta be Felix79's shot for me. Exactly what it says on the tin, topless Bimmers at a...

Am with you on that, 'tis THE only way to go. After owning both turbocharged and supercharged engines (the latter being a Cooper S), I assure you that the supercharger will leave an infinately bigger smile on your face. My final choice is to supercharge my 1.8i engine, and personally I think from wh...

Is that why my 318 might seem really sluggish on pickup? After a while, she gets going, but I had a 1.6 festa that seemed to go quicker?!?!?
318i with 154 odd K on the clock, lowered 40 mil, K&N induction, scorpion system (downpipe back)
Should be fairly quick i'd have thought?

Re: Noise from rear?
I Placed an excort/orion (as listed at the local HELLfrauds store) exhaust rubber between my stationary rear beam and the top of the exhaust. This cured the 'knocking' I was getting. Now i know it'll burn and eventually wear down, or disappear but it'll do for a trip to Bournemouth and back :? Maybe...

Nice 1 Neil, very VERY close. Malachite Green Metallic??? apparantly, no center arm rest. Re: Noise from rear?
I've got a knocking at the rear of my E30 too. Developed about 100 miles after purchase!?!?! Which didn't impress me in the slightest by the way, anyhow, I remember there being a rubber mount attached to the Scorpion system that held a rubber 'block' to space the exhaust away from the rear beam. It ...
