Highly recommended in Berkshire

Hi all - just had a new hood ( roof for our US cousins) fitted on my 89 325i cab - company called Trimmania near Wokingham in Berkshire.
Was looking for a good supplier long time and these guys are really top notch.

Re: Mystery connector

Ah ok thanks - there goes that theory.. I don’t have a cat but maybe they’d started including the wiring by 1989

Mystery connector

Hello - I recently got the local garage to replace a fuel line under the bonnet ( I was away otherwise I’d have done it!) and it’s has failed to start ever since. They claim there’s some sort of security isolator ( there isn’t ) but I’m a bit stumped - engine spins but no fire. On closer inspection ...

FRONT WINGS

Hello! I have a lovely 1989 Cab which has very tired front wings now - I've been told there are some pretty poor quality pattern parts out there - can anyone recommend a good quality supplier? I don't really want to pay OEM prices if I can avoid it. Also, one of the headless rivets on the folding ho...

Oil filler cap...

Hi - I've just discovered the cause of rough running and idle of my E30 325i - either I left the filler cap off or it worked it's way loose. Either way - I feel a twat - thought it was the plugs! So - the car has never smoked ( burnt oil ) before but now - if I stop the car after a drive - then star...

Eyebrows...

..what's the general opinion on these? The 325 cab I've just bought has one and I personally don't think it adds anything - just looks a bit ' bolt-on go faster' and a bit sh*t if you know what i mean?

Were these a 90s trend? I think it's days are numbered...

Re: Coolant level

Hi - thanks for the reply - this car has a different tank to my old one - it's at the side and is kind of rectangular - no visible seam or arrows - just the words on the top of the tank saying Cold Level? I've not seen one like this before - will try and take a pic

Thanks

Coolant level

Hi - I've just bought my second 325i cab - 89 rather than my old lhd 86 - and it has a different coolant expansion tank - I can't work out where the correct level is. There are no arrows that I can see - there is a note on the top saying cold level - so am I supposed to fill it to the top? Doesn't l...

Speedo and mpg meter stopped

Hello - newbie here - I recently had a new radio fitted by a 'pro' ( hmm) and since he's finished the radio is great but the speedo and mpg meter have stopped working. When you start the engine the mpg meter flicks up and down and thats it. I got him back to check his work but he insists he hasn't d...
