My mk 1 320i is dead!

Me,the missus and kids were on the way out for dinner last night about 7pm (missus driving),when as we crested a slight hill and followed a downhill righthand bend at about 40mph,slow for this A road, the back end broke away to the left and then snapped to the right as my other half fought to correct...

Im pretty sure from memory that as long as the new sills are fitted in the same way as the factory(a complete sill) ie spot welds in the correct place then that is fine, but any repairs/patches must be seam welded to maintain the structural integrity of the sill.
Hope this helps a little

Tng21 im not being funny here mate but if you can find a double glazing supplier or similar you can but an industrial superglue with an activator spray which is whats used to glue the trim etc onto new dg windows so its pretty strong stuff, just wash with a strong detergent solution to degrease it 1st.

Sounds good mate, with regards to the brakefluid change ive always found the easy bleed bery good, just fill it it and after a little while of bleeding the new stuff will flush the old stuff out, just make sure the level doesnt drop too far or its air bubble city! :D

Good luck though mate.
