its a 318i and its defo not from an exhaust leak just had the exhaust checked, do anything like these hydraulic valve lifter oils from wynns work?

hi does any1 have any ideas of how to reduce that tapping noise from the engine?

had mine done cost me a shit load he had to take the axle off to do it

but there now replaced with copper ones which are meant to last forever. thank god

just bit of extra info, i topped up oil in the engine today as the dipstick showed not much oil however when i looked again i could see like alot of oil spillage around the bottom of where the dipstick goes, so thinking maybe the dipstick bit is leaking and is not showing the actual correct amount o...

yes i thought that it was on the side to but never heard of it before being located on the side of the actual fan, however if my ressistor bord is located in a different place i.e underneath the fan. will i still be able to fit this one?

i took apart a heater fan from an e30 in the scrapyard only to find that there was no resisitor board under the blower 8O , so i just took out the whole fan blower itself. the fan has 2 wires which attach to it will it still work if i just attach the fan on its own and connect the wires up into my b...

kool man is it a long job how, long roughly? all ive seen is about 6 bolts across the top under the bonnet, 1 at the bottom underneath the side indicator and 1 i think near the headlight? is that it. btw wing is in good condition.

just bought some front lowering springs 40mm from ebay for cheap. only states that they are for e30's not specific models i.e 318i,320,325i. are the springs the same for all models and will they fit if they are meant for a differnent type e.g 325 not 318i

i heard that using new synethitic oil which is thinner isn't actualy good for the e30's and the old thicker stuff is better, is this true?
