You can renew an MOT certificate at any time you like. The new certificate will be valid for twelve months from the date of the test, unless you renew it within the last month that the current certificate is due to run, when the new certificate will expire twelve months after the old certificate wa...

There is a Lepsons down here in Kent, which are re-knowned for being the best refurb company around, so assuming they are both the same companies, i would say yes definately the people for the job.

MOT Question - Can i renew early?

Hi folks,

Can anyone answer my MOT question?

If a vehicle has MOT (e.g. 3 months left), can you submit the car for a new MOT to gain a new 12 months. Basically can a new MOT be done at anytime or do you have to wait until 28 days before the expiry (13 month MOT)?

E36 rack to column linkage

Hi guys, Can anyone shed some light on the best way to connect the E36 rack to E30 column? I originally used the E30 column U.J, a D.I.Y spacer and the E36 rack U.J. I am fitting my M30 and wont have enough clearance. What im getting at is that im sure ive seen someone do the E36 rack mod, and they ...

So the MK2 clio servo gives more clearance/space, improves the effectiveness and the feel of the brakes (which in my opinion feel pretty crap as standard), and all for around £20 and half hour at the breakers.

Seems well worth it to me. :D

M30 Brake servo options

Hi all,

Does anyone know of other servo options other than MK1 Golf GTi, to use on an M30 swap?

Im sure ive read somewhere that you can use clio or mk2 Golf ones? Not worried about the need for slight modding etc, as long as it doesnt end up being more hassle than its worth!

Re: Lower arm differences/compatability/fitments

E36 m3 lower arms use solid ball joints the standard e36 use a ball joint with a hollow ruber mount the geometry varies between them both but acording to some sources the evo arm is the same geometry as the e30 arm to use an e46 arm you would have to modify the lolly pop mount as the e30/36 arm has...

Re: Lower arm differences/compatability/fitments

Some homework on RealOEM.com (first time ive used this, what a great site!) has shown the E46 M3 and M3 CSL to use the same lower arms, and these appear to be different to all other E46 models. Now just need to find out if these 'differences' are the same 'differences' as E36 M3 EVO and E36 lesser m...

Re: Lower arm differences/compatability/fitments

well logic would suggest that if E46 parts fit the E36 and E36 parts fit the E30, then they would all be interchangeable. Yes that is true, but to convert E30 to E36 setup, E36 EVO lower arms have to be used, and the EVO ones are obviously different to all other E36 arms. What i need to know is if ...
