hi, i tried looking for it in the searches but im not much use with that. i have a g reg 318( genuinly mint:D) and i have a 318is engine from a j reg e36, i know i need to change the sump and probably engine mounts, i was ust wondering weather the 318 sump would fit the 318is also same with the engi...

i got my diff back today!!! they found it at the local scrap yard!!! i'm so chuffed! at least i dont have to knock on a caravan door for a 3rd time!

has the clutch rusted to the flywheel? did you free it off before you put your new engien in? start it in gear and try and drive it around for abit braking etc and it might free itsself....if that is the problem

i know what you mean. i have a 6 cylinder "316" but when i drive it, it feels somwere in the reigon of 220bhp....strange that... its the most powerful 1.6 i've ever had...

well maybe he put the wrong car in the advert. its the diff that just needs the back plate changing but i dont know what to....i have the larger diff that your talking about. i already have a subframe made up for it but i didnt want to take the spare wheel well out and put a new hanger in and though...

Have you changed the coolant recently? I done mine today and had trouble bleeding the system, Once I had done it properly they were nice and hot. yes i changed it 2 weeks ago when i put my m30 in.... i'm pretty sure its bled ok, i'm using the header tank that sits higher than the engine.... i was w...

any common problems that would stop me from getting hot air from my heater?

i also have no lights backgroud lights on my dash...related problem?

the rev counters all wrong and somwere i read its all in the dash and theres a chip i could change...were is the chip please? or would it be easier just to replace the whole dash?

maybe even if you changed the colour to black so the door bits and grils dont stand out as much it would look better. its surprising how a coulor can make or break a car.... and that shade of orange is just wrong on a car.
