This is what you should do!, m52 g/box flange onto my m50 gearbox,then shorten my e30 iS prop and put the flange from a 325 onto the iS prop,both are 78mm.prop place close by

its an e36 it had an m52 but now has a m50.

hi just wondering does anyone have 2 diagrmas of the main engine plug of a m50 and m50 basically im puttting a m50 into a car that had an m52.

i know it aint an e30 but i also need this info for my own 24v conversion for the plug

Cheers for the replies i done it earlier took the plate out and used a joiner on the hoses takes all of 5 mins.But have not tried it yet.Just going to do a few little mods like this to pep it up a bit not really used to the little 4 pots just using it as an every day car have 325's and an e36 evo fo...

hi all just wondering if some of ye have taking the heater pipes off the throttle body.have ye just taken the hoses off and looped them or have ye taken the plate off clompletely and then looped them as the throttle body can bolt on without it or does this cause problems with the throttle cable etc....

so basicaly what do i need to run the m50 its a vanos one too.has it been done before and what sensors stay and what go or be changed.can yu explain the coil pack more...cheers in advance.

cheers for the reply sorry there did not reliese i was so blunt above.but i got it sorted i changed the brushes and regulator and off it went charging again.

i have a charging prob on my 86 325i sport its not charging what so ever and no charging light coming on either.
