Ive got a zone 1 chip big bore throttle body full stainless and a k&n filter--

if your going to fit a turbo and spend 12k your going to rebuild the engine to do it properly so low mileage doesnt matter just find one in good condition!

Mines got 70k on it ,prob not worth more than Ãƒ”šÃ‚£4k at the best

buy one with higher mileage and good spec for less money, then you have money left to play with it.

I'll prob be needing a 4.1 then, similar ratios to old ford escorts, 3.7 - 3.9 does make a difference but with a 4.1 its gonna fly!

Whats the standard LSD ratio for a 89 sport??

When i buy a car with a belt first thing to do is change the belt even if you have proof it has been done recently, 30k- 40k is about average but i will be changing mine every 25k to be on safe side. BMW used to say every 40k for a 325 but better to change sooner ..........just in case. vauxhall quo...

Had a power flow on my sport with big bore back box- sounded like a v8 on idle and nice running round town - bit loud ,but when on a long run - couldnt hear a bloody thing and also lost alot of midrange torque!! ripped it off ( was new !! and sold it on fleabay)and put a new scorpion on! much better...
