Just to bump this up. :)

The bumper thingy is a bit urgent, I got a good price and would like to get it over with before the guy sells elsewhere. :)

Old/new bumpers info+electrical issue

Probably covered a million times, but it's hard to search for this one, it gives me all the wrong results. Anyway, my car is a '85 320i, I have to change both front and rear bumper, front lip and right rear light. So I was thinking to upgrading to facelift bumpers and lamps. What kind of work is req...

Re: Throttle cable urgent help needed...

I have an addition to this, so here it's explained how to remove the cable, but how do I fix it in then?TB part first, and then push the little hook inside the cabin. And what about the plastic part which "glues" to the bulkhead, how do I mount it to the bulkhead?

Re: coolant

It's vice versa, you're having heating problems because of something, which could be badly bled system. When you're done bleeding it remove the top heater hose from the matrix(hoses on the bulkhead) and let some coolant and hopefully air come out, other than that check if the hoses are the right way...

It can be unsafe without a spring compressor, not worth it. You'll need it in the future anyway.

Probably valve then if it's ONLY on the passenger side but could be any of the two. You can smell the coolant unlike rainwater, the easiest way to check.

Re: coolant leak

Not hard with RHD. Get under there and remove a couple of screws and remove the heater pipes under the bonnet. You'll have to remove either the heater valve and that little plastic pipe or remove four nuts on the bulkhead holding the big black heater case. I found removing the valve&pipes very easy W...

If you want a turbo cosworth thread you type cosworth AND turbo and it'll find all posts containing both turbo and cosworth words. If you want the exact phrase turbo cosworth put it inside " ".

I changed original pads and discs a couple of months ago(for original bmw ones) although with the right pressure the brakes worked fine, but were worn. After a mile I found out why we "couldn't get all the air out" from the system before that. We could-but the pad(what was left of it) went towards t...

This is why I still have a big disgusting hook on the rear on my car although I never drive or own a trailer. A guy hit me from behind and wrecked his old astra lol.
And it's useful for muppets who'd rather use their horn instead of the gas pedal when wanting to overtake me.

Remove all the interior(except for dash, stereo and heat controls), rear seats, carpets, spare wheel, rear carpets and it will get you 15% more mpg AND more speed! AND you can earn by selling all of the removed stuff.

Water in the footwell

I removed my carpet since the matrix flooded it, so when I washed the car today I noticed a couple of small water lines-mini streams coming into the co-driver's footwell.I think it may just be the rubber seal as the bulkhead seems to be in very good shape. What should I check?

Et25 is fine for e30(et35 is vw) as far as I know you can't do anything to make your et13 rim fit closer to the arch so it would maybe be best to find another et25 rim? Going for 12 mm spacers on 3 wheels isn't really rational I'd say.

Sinter clutch used for small race/rally cars like N1 Polo, Fabia and such makes for some erratic and uncomfortable although not at all unbearable starts, in my experience it's always a trade-off and whatever you put in it won't pull away as smooth as it does now.
