Re:
Yep, I like mine in chrome, blacked out makes it look like there is something missing.
Car is reasonably mint, few scratches here and there but the colour is fantastic for hiding them

Thanks, I have contacted BMW and it works out uneconomical, will just keep searching, biggest problem is that whenever I do find one the rest of the kit comes with it and it works out more expensive than a new one!! Catch 22. The induction kit isn’t a kit, it’s a home build using a BMC type enclosed...

Thanks Digger. Seems the only market outside of Europe they were sold was NZ, I don’t think they sold many though, other than the E30 race series pace car I have only seen UK imports so mine being NZ new must be rare. http://www.bmwclub.co.nz/wp-content/fgallery/safety-car/DSC_6665.jpg http://www.bm...

Been lurking E30 Zone for tips and ideas over the last year or so and I thought I would share my progress with the 320i. Thus far. Suspension: Front Shocks: KYB GAS (will be replaced with some BOGE Turbo’s as they are crap) Rear Shocks: BOGE Turbo’s and new Z3 reinforced Top hats. Front Springs: E30...

Re: meguires trim detailer
tbh Si I was dissapointed by this product - the only one of Maguires I ever have been Well im not sure we are talking the same product but I too have found Meguiars interior detailers to be crap, worst of all is there quick protectant wipes, they left both my E30 and E60’s interiors an off grey whi...

Re: Touring Stealth install.
They did the 325i in all models bar the Touring, I believe they only imported a few Touring’s. There are quite a few English imports though.
The Touring didn’t make it to a lot of markets including Australia. Hence why a Touring costs double a sedan over here. Mine was 3,700 pounds.

Re: Touring Stealth install.
Cheers guys! As far as I know they didn’t sell the 325i Touring in New Zealand and im sure none come with the M-Tech II kit on them, mine is genuine but is retro fit and does not have the Tech-II front bar. Would like to slot a 2.5 litre in at some stage as the 2.0 struggles on the hills. No blanks ...

Re: Ultimate E30
For me it would be a white or silver TechII Touring with a 2.5 M3 engine and running gear, 17”a BBS splits, very low ride height It would have full black leather and a nice sound system.

Re: Touring Stealth install.
I just stuck them on the dash. It’s only a 320i and doesn’t come with factory tweeters, not many models do.
Im thinking about ordering some and re locating the 5”a speakers to the door as the factory mounting point is average at best.

Touring Stealth install.
Well I finally finished my install, I wanted the system to be easily removed and didn’t want to drill or cut any holes in the standard trim as parts for Touring’s are hard to replace (they only sold a few Tourings in NZ) and I also wanted to keep the luggage area usable. I ended up with a Pioneer DE...

Not bad. We don't have many in NZ due to our LHD and frontal impact rules but you would expect to pay over NZ50k for a tidy Evo M3!

Wide rim offset?
I have found a set of my desired wheels, the lovely BBS splits and am wanting to know what the best offset is for the E30 keeping in mind I plan to widen them to 8-9â€a. The offset is 35 and the guy tells me it's perfect even though im sure I should be looking for 15-25. Any help would be much ap...

Thanks Guys, at least I can rule out it being a common fault. I haven't listened to the radio yet, only CD's, I will pull the head deck out and run a spare set of RCA's down over the top and do a test. I might have to make a custom ground and get a distribution block to earth both amps. Its hard to ...

I have recently hooked up a 4 channel amp to run my fronts and rears and am having problems with alternator noise threw the speakers. True, I hadn't even noticed that. The kit is not factory fitted so maybe the previous owner tried to save a few bob!
Thanks for the compliment, Im happy with the stance as I can load it up and it sits level.

After a weekend club cruise it came to my attention that the wagon wasn't cutting the mustered up against some newer cars so I headed down to my suspension guy to get a few things sorted.
