car leans to one side
this problem has been on my head for some time and i keep putting it off so other than taking every thing out what do i need to look for the car has been lowered by 40mm as far as i can tell all looks installed correctly only odd thing is on the drivers front side which its leaning on the the spring...

hi all got a problem on the car which i have been letting go but i can not any more the drivers side of the car sits lower first i was thinking shocks but every one i asked said the height is the same only how wide the tube is makes the differene the car is lowered on eibach springs(40mm) here is so...

hi all i want to convert my rear brake lines to flexable type from the t-bar to the small flex pipes i have read and had a look it looks like a nightmare fuel tank axle all have to come out doing it the normal way by going flex it sorts this all out plus could you let me know where i can get the kit...

i think i know what your asking so here goes on a car fitted with drum brakes the hand brake cable acts on the shoes that are used for normal braking, on a car fitted with rear discs the cable is acting on 2 small shoes that press on the inside of the disc itself so the connections are also different

little qustion is the car a uk spec as far as i recall m10 engine never came in a 316i or 318i but was fitted with a carb in the uk or do you have a m40 which did come in 316i and 318i if you have a m10 then you need a m10 head as on the head is also the pump that supplys the petrol if you get a 316...

i 2nd that eibach springs are good 40mm is the most i would drop a e30 any more and you run in to tyre wear issuses wheel problems and get some weight in the car and new back box middle box needed so for me eibach springs bilstien gas shocks powerflex bushs where i could fit them and all other bushs...

as above yep no probs done it myself the only thing you may notice but you will have to look hard to see it is on the back seats lower section there is a gap and the seat over hangs a bit but this causes no problems reason is the rear bottom section on 4 doors has a curve on the conners but the 2 do...

quick one the oem tweeters that fit behind the door mirrors are they wired in to the multi plug that leads from the door to the body the same one that carrys the central locking wires etc if so what pins are used thanks in advance

well in that case any alarm from a decent company should do install will be easy connections needed will be live,earth,2 wires to flash lights,2 to the central locking thats it unless it comes with other features having one is better than not having one at all may even help with insurance good luck

your in luck i had this problem last week but now the window goes up and down like a dream what i did removed the door card plastic sheet etc greased all moving parts also all the rubber around or that came in to contact with the glass i treated to wd40 and the felt strips hope this helps

depends on what kind of alarm your fitting basic not hard but stuff like auto closure auto lock etc is a real pain either way lots of panels to remove wires to check but basic one when done right should not take you more than a day key word take your time

haynes is not always right it is best to cross check it with other books sites etc i put a alarm once in a 316 and the central locking wiring was different to the one in the haynes book i have about 3 or so books just on the e30 you can never be 100% plus some one may have been doing there own wirin...

i hope some one can put some light on this the drivers side of my car sits lower than the other side from the rear i have changed all springs shocks and all the bushs at the front and the rear beam mount bushs also i was thinking could worn out trailing arm bushs cause this any info will be helpful

if you get one of the auto boxs that are eh etc then you will need the ecu the wirng etc plus the size of the boxs is different i can not recall if the drive shaft has to be changed also but you have a 1.8 so m40 or m10 engine early versions of these engines the gear box was not eh just a normal 123...

yes you can do this first you need the said module plus a switch/relay that can take the signal from your alarm to make the module work but the light will go out after a set time also it will not be a simple plug in and play setup as far as i can tell
