I've used Pirelli P6000's and Bridgestone RE720's. The P6000's are fairly good all-rounders, and pretty hard-wearing. There is a fair difference between wet and dry performance tho'. The RE720's are (imho) really good tyres. I ran them on my road rally car for a season. They give good grip in all co...

325 diff in a 318?
Ignoring the differences in final drive ratios, will a 325 diff be a straight swap replacement for a 318 one? Mine's knackered and I can get hold of a 325 one quite easily from a mate.

E36 M40 head on an E30 M40?
I've got an M40 318i with the usual cam rattle and a bit of a head gasket leak and have the chance to nab a head from an 8v E36 318i - will the E36 head fit straight on the E30 block?
Thanks,
Olly
