A couple of other must-do roads are on the way to the Stelvio, found in Switzerland close to the Italian border.
KlausenPass, SustenPass, GrimselPass and FurkaPass. The last three form a triangle with some of the best scenery I've ever seen.

Re: Newbie - Best Trackcar Base, E30 non-M3 or E36 M3?
Alan - it depends what you want out of a trackcar. If you want something fun to drive with the potential for a bit more power, I'd go for a non-M E30. If you want something to drop an LS7 into, I'd go for the E36. Remember the E36 is a much heavier car with very different dynamics (far closer to th...

Re:
Get an E30, strip and cage it, then put decent suspension on it. You're looking at... £3k? A bit more for coilovers mebbe. Then a willwood brake kit and turbo the bastard for another £3.5-4k (drive in/out) at Ant's and you're looking at a monster! You could be pushing 350bhp in a lighter shell. Tra...

Learnt my lesson when timing a lap at the Ring. Crashed at Hatzenbach, and bent the beam tube on the 205. My recent trip in August in the 205 was timed by a friend, but from the ticket gate to the back of the queue with a light passenger, 10mins10sec with yellow flag from Brunnchen to the start of P...

Thanks.... The couple of things that scare the bejesus out of me for the M3 are the insurance costs and the cost of a rebuild if that engine goes pop. I mean, this will be a toy for me doing a lot of trackwork. I'm fairly handy with a spanner and have done engine rebuilds myself, but I've heard the ...

Newbie - Best Trackcar Base, E30 non-M3 or E36 M3?
Hi people, Newbie on here. Love E30s, and have recently been thinking about one as a trackcar to replace my now probably bent 205 Mi16 shitbox. Problem is I want something on the same performance scale, if not quicker. I mean, nobosy wants to take a step backwards. I know there are plenty engine con...

Gary, As somebody that has made the transisition from 205 to E30, can you give a few words on how the E30 is to drive compared to the 205 particularly on track? I'm deliberating on making the move myself after stacking my 205 Easter 2007 at the Ring, and fancy a change. I did drive a 325 some years ...

I'm a newbie and I need some help!
Hello all, I'm new on here, and looking at getting an E30 as a trackslag to replace my little 205 Mi16. The 205 bought it at the 'Ring in Easter at Hatzenbach, still in one piece but the chassis is bent and I can't be arsed with 205's anymore. I was going to get an E30 a few years ago but the seller...
