Re: Tyres - ZR16 vs R16 whats the difference?
Hi, thanks for the reply, its only a 318i so I don't think he'll be going for a speed record lol.
If both are 92W though does that mean they are the same or does ZR mean a different rating all together?

Tyres - ZR16 vs R16 whats the difference?
Evening guys,
My father needs some tyres for his E36 Touring, wheels are the stock BMW 16" alloys and the tyres fitted are 225-50-ZR16 92W
Handbook confirms above tyres are correct but would it be possible to use 225-50-R16 92W, are they the same?
Thanks

Seller answered a question at bottom of ebay page it says...
Q: Hi, Would they fit to a LHD E30 ? Regards Paul 12-Jun-09
A: Hi, yes they will fit l/h drive E30. Wendy
Fit left hand drive hmmmm, I agree they also don't look right, and the buy it now was originally £160 as e30topless mentions

usual car checks but main priority is rust as mentioned above, there aren't many e30's that haven't been welded or need welding so check thoroughly
