They look promising! Any idea what the sizes are? I think std capri ones are 50mm so I'm sure I could shim it out another 10mm

Could someone measure me an engine mount!

It's been a while since I've been on here - hope everyone is well! I'm struggling to find an engine mount the correct size for my current project! Would someone be able to measure an E30 325 engine mount rubber for me please, dimension and height etc. This is the type....... http://www.ebay.co.uk/it...

Re: One for the bodywork guys

I think good quality stonechip works wonders. I just recently got mine done and the stuff underneath was still mint. Really easy to apply and gives a good solid protection. Never used waxoil. What is it liketo use? Waxoil is great - very messy when used with a compressor though. It's a different st...

Re: One for the bodywork guys

Fresh powdercoat everytime for me. If nothing else it looks the sex. Ask that to put it on thick and it will be tougher than any paint on stone chip imo You reckon? I've always found it easier to strip powdercoat off than the sealant stuff. Unless it's rotten behind the sealant  Looks like I'...

Re: One for the bodywork guys

No, it's for a pair of subframes for the MG. I'm going to get them blasted, but i'd like something a bit tougher than powdercoat.

The barge will be getting a good spray of waxoil before the winter! Along with everything in a 50 metre radius

That's the sort of stuff - do you know if that particular stuff can be painted over in the same colour as the car?

One for the bodywork guys

What is the stuff that people use under wheel arches to protect from the elements? I'm not talking about the nasty stuff that you can buy from halfords that's like tar, but the stuff that sets solid and usually has a mottled finish - but it can be painted over in the same colour as the car. Thoughts...

Yes that hose is correct. It worked for me for 2 years anyway

If the hosepipe test doesn't show anything up the only thing I can suggest is to fill it slowly and make sure it's bled properly.

Re: Bizarre M52 cooling system problem

Have the heater pipes become trapped behind the block somehow when you changed the sump?

Did you remove these pipes when you changed the sump and put them back on the wrong way? It's very tight down there - it's possible something has been disturbed when the engine mounts were off.

E46 manual

I've recently bought an E46 320d. I could really do with a manual for it - something like the Haynes - but it would appear the don't do one.

It's a long shot I know but soes anyone on here know of a manual which covers the diesel engines? :)
