Hi, wondering if anyone can help, as the title I have a water leak coming from the cooling system. It comes from the small plastic pipe which sits under the inlet manifold. Had very similar problems with my e30, warm but not hot air. I change the heater valve but it didnt fix the problem.(although i didnt have a wet floor) It turned out that the heater matrix was blocked. I fitted a water hose to one of the pipes in the bulk head and turnd the water up full blast, kept...

Speedo help
when at full throttle the speedo drops to zero untill i pull my foot back off the gas. when sitting at a constant speed it reads fine. anybody had that same problem?

Thanks guys, yea i had the rocker cover off to have a look and see where the oil leak was, i originally thot it was the rocker gasket but then realised it was the timing chain cover.
Is it an easy job?

i believe that the oil is coming from the the top of the timing chain cover. how esay is this to replace? i know the timing chain cover is in 2 parts but is the gasket in two parts? i am reasonably competant at working on my car but just wondering if i should tackle it myself or pay someone to do it...

Lumpy m42???
My is runs fine however when i am in 5th and about 3500rpm it runs a bit lumpy, it doesnt hapen at any other rpm. Does anyone know why this is and suggest any solutions? Thanks

ebay is very gd for brousing.i saw my car onebay and went to see it, i liked it and asked if he had a price and if he would end the aution early, we haggled a bit and then i bought it. i dont know if i would bid on a car to the end of the auction tho. try pistonheads it always has a good range of e30s

lol, prob not the technical term. its the cap between the top mount and the spring. the top of the spring sits in it. Hope this helps

what i mean when i say theres no power goin 2 the pump is that doesnt prime when i turn the ignition on. Sorry am prety usless when it come 2 cars although i am learnin.

thanks for the info eko, i have put a multi meter on the 2 wires that go into the pump and i get nothing, i have found the orange relay but not sure how to bridge the pins? is that just running a wire between the to pins?

fuel pump problems help needed!!!!
your help would be much appreciated. I have just had to fit a new fuel pump to my is. There doesnt seem to be any power to the pump, i have checked the fuse box and everything is ok with that. does anybody have any other sugestions please???

Thanks for the comments guys. Sorry chicken, front spoiler isnt for sale but you can get them pretty cheap on ebay, mines cost 30quid! Quite like the front end other than the indicators so the will be changed. need to get the suspension changed cause it sits a bit higher at the front than the back. ...
