Mcguard lockers - key broken by garage, help with removal
Evening gents, I have 2 out of 4 Mcguard locking wheel nuts stuck on my E30, I took it to my local garage for 2 new front tires and a removal and reseal of 1 rear, stupidly as I watched them refit the wheels I didn't realise they were using an impact gun on my mcguard lockers, the key was twisted in...

I've had my E30 316i lux 2 door since I was 16 I'm 23 now, and family had it before that, only time it really let me down was when the fuel pipes perished under the inlet manifold, I've done 40,000 miles in it in that time most of it was daily use, I've spent about £2k on it in parts in that time a ...

Thanks for the replays gents. Yes I did sell it too cheap, hindsight & that
Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and stump up the cash. I'm not scrimping on the build, but don't want to pay over the odds. Planning on mtb's and stacks as well should sound. Awesome when done

M20 325i engine prices
Hi, about a year ago I sadly had to scrap a 325i I bought off of here (rotten underneath). The engine was one of the last things I sold, I put it up for £250 and I had to drop the price to £120 to sell it. A few months later my Mum offered my old e30 back to me for peanuts. I'm gathering bits for a ...

Should've flashed / waved Duke, I do that run everyday lol. It drives really well, reasonably good on fuel, haven't noticed much difference compared to the M50 (it's the only 2.5 I can compare it with) in that case. I have the dodo rotary, used it to do about 10 cars so far, gearbox is getting a bit noisey, seems to lack torque a little bit sometimes. I wouldn't buy it again tbh. How long would you need the car stored for? We do have a garage we rent out in a really quiet culdesack but I think its rented at the moment.

sounds like the top mount but could be a drop link if the bush has gone and then worn badly. if you take the cap of the top mount [19mm nut underneath] then push down you and watch for play and feel for clicking around the rubber at the same time. I dont think its drop link and its just sounds too ...

Ok thanks. As you said "all E30" could I get away with undoing my track rods on the E30 rack itself fitting the E46 rack and then doing the existing tie rods back up to the E46 rack? and not have to get it tracked? Being cocky I know lol

E46 rack conversion - think i've ordered the wrong bits
Morning gents, I have been ordering a few bits for my E46 rack conversion after finding out its a more direct fit than a z3 rack, the linkage doesn't need altering apparently?, and a hell of alot cheaper. So I have bought: e46 330d rack ending 067 - this is a 2004 e46 inner tie rods E30 track rod en...
