Thanks for the instrument cluster Adi, arrived safe and sound.

As usual all positive comments again from me, brought the following:

IS lip.
SE skirts.
Boot carpet.
Horn.

Brought M42 engine, all ancillaries and complete s/s exhaust system, all exactly as described and now fitted to the Wife's touring. Thanks Ferg, she's made up with the car now.

As ever, a great bloke and all items exactly as descibed. If there is anything I need I always try Adi 1st.

Sold my E3 3.0si a couple of years ago, although I loved it I was frightened to leave it parked amywhere. I got £8500 for it, a wealthy gent from London collected, I've never seen it since

I know Adi from a couple of years back, where I bought various parts from him, he was always reasonable and a pleasure to deal with. Now I have brought his Touring for my wife, I am glad to say he is an honest and good hearted man, highly recommended. Thanks again Adi.

Can anyone tell me if this radiator is unique to the M42, or will other E30 radiators fit?

That's what i thought, but i have tried 2 other 2nd hand one's, this must be a very common fault for both those to be knackered as well?

Yep, got a 316i touring converted to 318is touring. I probably do at least 500 miles per week in it for work and 50-100 miles at weekends. I love the car, perfomance and economy.

I change the oil and filter according to service lights and it's very reliable.

They look body colured bumpers and it has the front lip, these items rare and both NLA main stealers This looks to be a late car andprobably has the fold down front arm rests as well?

It's interesting to see that the 2nd bid has now been withdrawn.

The wipers on my touring are causing me grief, they don't park in the right place anymore, if you have them on intermitant they jump up the screen a few inches at a time

My I.S. powered touring usually returns 380 miles on a tank before the fuel light comes on, that's on A and B roads and some town work, it get's driven hard as well.

As far as i know, all non-cat.

All I can imagine is an iS struggling up hills. 130bhp at 1050kilos+ doesn't really cut it anymore :( I suspect it would be fun'ish, but desperatly underpowered Er not too many hills on trackdays i'e been on, as in trackday not hill climb, with an Evolve chip and lightened, it's nearly 150BHP ideal...
