mk4 astra 4 stud is 4x100 but the spiggot ring is a diff size so you will need new rings for that.

ive got hottuning coliovers on my e36 - granted its different to the e30 but for the abuse the car gets it works perfectly.

Im in Slough mate and will ask about. there are a few E30s round here and if you remember recently a well known drift car was nicked from santa pod and a several people arrested - two of which were asian and from slough. I would take certain parts out the car when parking it up so i cant be started ;)

The bootlid has a small bit of rust on the inside so not sure someone will want it - otherwise it will get thrown in the skip.

As above - how do you remove these from a bootlid?

I actually really like the E36 shape - one of the nicest 3 series shapes there is and can be made to look lovely with the right mods. They also have better engines in them.

Saying that E30s are classics in my eyes and im sure you can get them insured on classic policies nowadays

There is a few Cossied E30s about mate

I would use the cossie box as the bimmer box wont take the power or torque.

If a car is worth more in bits than a whole, it does make sense to "frag" or "strip it", especially when you can buy E30s for less than a bag of crisps lol

The more that get broke, will eventually put the prices of decent ones up as there will be less supply to fulfil the demand ;)

i had a quote from footman james on a saphire cosworth for 255 with all mods declared and limited to 4500 miles - check them out as i was pleasantly surprised.

a 316 will be shit at drifting - there is no power in that engine at all.

if it s a shitty 318 or 320 it wont be worth much at all.

if 325i a few hundred but doubt it would fetch 800 if it has issues

i sold a genuine set of ebay for 200 quid - admittedly they were square and in need of a refurb but then that sale netted me 75% of the cost I paid for the car they came on so not too bad.

why not take your wheels and car down to a wheel shop who supply these - thats what i did and they can fit them while you wait which saves getting your hands dirty - £20.
