It was the E28 one's that I was thinking of, they came in 8J and 10J  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-ALPINA-17-Alloy-Wheels-Genuine-88-89-e28-fit-e24-e32-/110818070256?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Rims_Car_Wheels_ET&hash=item19cd458ef0 Not sure how the 10js would be on the e30 m3 arches. Re: Wheels collected
They may well have I am not 100% but some of the other guys here will confirm one way or the other, but the e34 B10 came with 8.5j on the front and 9.5j on the rear as far as I am aware, those were what my donor had and are what these are. Hope this helps. Recaro's should arrive over the next week, ...

Alpina staggered 17inch wheels collected today! The guy didnt even know what they were. They are all straight and just need a gentle refresh. All of them came with great tyres and the chap even threw in a spare 5 series cross spoke wheel with a good tyre which was from the spare wheel well of the ca...

My mechanic had them as an exchange for doing the conversion from the 3.5 to the 3.5 Alpina. At the time I was going to use my Asev's and stick with the 4 stud set up. Engine conversion hasnt happened yet though and he has used the wheels on another B10 he has. The Alpina is still sat under a tarp o...

Just picked up some 17inch staggered Alpinas 8.5j front and 9.5j rears, 5 stud. Recaros are apparently en route. M3 side skirts are here. M3 rear bumper is awaiting collection. Ok, body panels, front bumper, suspension, brakes, and any Alpina bits I can locate to go. Flogging spare motorbike parts I...

New update after long absence
Had a manic year working away and long hours so the project has sat unattended for some time. I have decided due to my schedule to get the car done by someone end to end, and my plan is to get M3 panels on her, and make a tribute to the B6 3.5s, but as a cab which Alpina never made (they did a B6 3....

I have sent the chap an email to ask if he knows if the engine is the uprated Alpina one. I bought one which was hanging a year or so back and have the same engine as Lee which is going to be put in my motor as well.

M3 body conversion
This is probably an age old question many ask but I cant seem to locate anything about it. I have a lhd e30 convertible which has a 3.5 engine in. However like the esteemed e30zoner Lee Parkes I have sourced an Alpina 3.5 lump. I am thinking the ludicrous about buying the M3 parts to try and create ...

Wow, what progress. I am finally getting somewhere with mine. Engine is now out of the e34 and wrapped up securely in the back garden next to the garage. Bit of an update... Car is going to have engine conversion in March now so will be booking some days off to tackle it properly then. Ah ok. I might do the same thing then...and it might be worth doing while the engine is out. Z3 sounds interesting at 2.7 turns although dont want it to be too extreme. Thanks for all the info, this is a really helpful forum compared to many out there

Ok, so basically sharpens up the steering by using different steering ratio. I tend to do searches on the German Ebay given my motor is a LHD so will try and find the german for 'steering rack' and check out prices.

Thanks mate. I bought her for £150 from a yard a few years ago where she was sat forlornly. Body was actually very good nick, but engine was shot, which sparked this whole conversion idea and subsequent B10 thing! Its taken time, but am determined for her to be on the road in the next 2-3mths now!

Re: Another B10 3.5 Acquisition!
I agree there, the quest for BHP involves diminshing returns. Eventually you end up forking out shed loads of cash for just a few extra horses. The happy medium is best I reckon, most bang for the buck. Will be looking to get Eibach strut braces for mine though, front and rear...when I can afford to...
