can i not just bolt the inlet off a F/I engine on to my head, also what about the wiring is that straight forward

how hard is it to convert to fuel injection on my car as it is carb engine

has anyone done a how to on turboing the m10 engine what i`m looking for is a list of all the parts needed best place to get them from ie what cars can donate there parts ect and also can i do the convert to my carbed engine or will i have to fit fuel injcion first. i want to get all the parts first...

you havent covered any miles so it shud be ok when re filled

sorry if i am going on but i`ve been offered 2 webber carbs and i`m going to get both of them but if that dont work how hard would it be to convert to fuel injection as i would like to keep the m10 engine for now with a possibility of droping in a 2.5 6pot at a later date thanks peeps

there are a few bits of welding that need doing front drivers jacking point and behind the glovebox where the loom comes through. there are two bits on the rear panel that have had filler put in them at some point but i`m being pickey on them bits. not to sure as yet what way to go with it may try a...

the engine in your pic is an s14 found in e30 m3s thanks for telling me but thought the m3 where 6 pot engines. are they dear to pick up??? E30 M3 engine's were 4pots...the E36 brought in the 6pot M3 engine. thanks for putting me straight on that one dont know where i got that from unless i was jus...

this is prob wrong but i just unplug it and if it runs worse then the afm is working if there is no change then try swaping afm`s

have you checked to see if all the vac hoses are on and also check the afm

it the mo would like to way up the cost of tuning this engine over droping a 325 engine in by the way its auto

hi everyone just picked up a 316 baur tc its got the m10 carb 1766cc engine any ideas for tuneing it thanks

only problems with my tourer so far have been a starter motor, drivers door lock and a fcuked cam shaft other than that its been fine

the starter shorting on the engine block put a new starter in and it now good as gold thanks for all the input guys

got the car running now thanks for all your help guys

all the normal lights are on the one i pointed out only comes on when you go to crank the engine over

Black box sounds like an OE BMW alarm/immobiliser.

so is it safe to remove the only wires still connected are the live and earth

i have a e30 316 k reg tourer auto when i try to start the car i get nothing no fuel pump noise and no cranking but on the dash a light between the handbrake lights comes on any ideas plz help the wife is shouting at me to get it running thanks
