Re: BMW MINI
I might have asked this before but I've often wondered if the JCW calipers off the earlier 4 stud cars could be adapted to fit an E30.

I'm still here and still have the E30. But admittedly I don't comment and post as much as I used to.

You seem to be finding a lot of rare cars. You should start exporting them to the UK! haha if there is anything you guys are looking for let me know and I will see what I can do! but it seems to be the other way here in Australia, beemers are rare and worth a lot of money where there a lot more com...

Re: full fat m20b25 spec
I love the M20. Slightly off topic but I had the x pipe taken out of my exhaust system yesterday and swapped it with true dual pipes from the BTB. The rest of the system is standard Fritz. Long story short I was having trouble with the gaskets blowing out between the x-pipe and mid section. I also f...

Edit: Should say massive wheels with rubber band tyres don't look nice either. The steels look just right with the chrome.

That looks fantastic. Totally agree with the keep as is approach. Funnily enough I was saying the other day I drive to and from work everyday in an S line Audi A3 and the ride on that drives me to distraction sometimes. Especially as it's mostly country lanes. Perhaps it's because I'm 32 in November...

I got a genuine Alpina item from the dealers for my 325i se without issue but this is going back a few years.
That's a good shout Pukar. I wish Alpina had made them from ABS plastic.

Eddie, so as not to break the rules I will post a photo of the Galaxie on the Other Marques page. Thank you very much. I have a 71 Dart Sedan and I know there are a number of other American car fans on here I'm sure would like a look. Not taking anything away from the E30 though as it looks a beaut...

I have a Bosch battery in mine (forget the model) but it's excellent. Fitted it early last year and even after sitting under cover on the driveway for 5 weeks or so recently the car fired straight up.

M20B25 Intermittent High Idle (Confused)
Hi All This one has got me a bit stumped. Earlier this year the E30 was suffering with a high idle. It would jump up to 1500rpm or so and stick there rigidly. The car was checked extensively for vacuum leaks and none were found. Most hoses and boots are new. The ICV was then replaced with a brand ne...

I have this cover and find it spot on. It came with a bag to store it. Bit of a faff to get in but not as bad as getting the average tent back into the bag. It then easily fits in the boot.

Hi JMC
Seems to sit against the stop so far as I can make out. It's cammed with a BTB 3 so I did toy with going BBTB but heard this is a bit of a false economy without high comp internals or a stroker?

Hi Gary
It's a B25 mate. I'll whip the Throttle Body off tomorrow and get a part number. It's a CAT prepped engine so has a bit of a strange TB.

Another M20 Idle Problem
Got me baffled this one; The Idle is not so much erratic but jumps up to anywhere between 1100 to 1500 rpm and sticks there rigidly. This is usually only when the engine is up to temperature and can settle back down to normal now and again. It did have a cold start problem in addition to the above s...

klutch SL1 wheels opinions
For a while I have wanted to upgrade to 16inch wheels on the 30. Although the Ronals I have are one of my favourite styles for an e30 15inch looks a bit lost with the Alpina cow plough and pending tech 1 skirts. I don't fancy the cost and hassle of a 5 lug conversion and I'd like to keep the basket ...

Tweeter Pod Wiring& Amp
Hi All My apologies this question has probably been asked 1000 times but is the wiring for the OEM tweeter pods already in the door? The Wiki seems to suggest it is but I wanted to make sure. I also have the Premium rear speakers but no Amp which means if I turn the stereo up above a certain level i...

Know what you mean. Best weather for 5 years so the only aspect they could not control was the only improvement. The new RWYB classes are absolute shite, only suite the modern cars and all the classics are ignored. Suppose because the sponsors won`t be able to make any money "Mapping them Bruv". Sp...

I had this problem on mine. I changed just about everything bush and suspension related until I changed the dampers themselves. Problem solved!
Used to make a horrible knocking over bumps you could actually feel come through the steering wheel.
