got a small problem with my 325 sport at the moment, its a right pain to start, it ticks over at 500 rpm and at around 2000 rmp it sounds like its not firing on all cylinders and and the car jolts like go stop go stop etc, i changed the spark plugs yesterday and the problem is still there, imdoing t...

er no. it didnt cross my mind but seriously its not that hard, you just need a multimeter and a bit of brain power, if some spotty geek at halfords can do it then im sure my nan could. (im not a spooty geek from halfords by the way) if you lived close then id do it for you for a good drink.

mine was chocolate block city. spent a good 2 hours striipig everything back and soldering a new plug onto it, was well worth the effort. even got the dash switch working so the sterio doesnt blind me at night.

probably, but i ca get hold of the whole car as its a cat b right off which should make things easier.

i had a mate with a b3 and it went like the clappers,
still needto know how hard the engine swap will be tho.

how hard would it be to but a alpina b3 engine into my 325 sport, and would my gearbox fit straight on. im almost blind with this subject but i can get an engine for the right price any advice wouldbe appreciated.

alpinas look the part but i can only get 1 person in the back before it starts to rub on the arches, i need to roll them which is also on my list of ttd.

got the valve today looks quite easy to change ill have it done sometime tomorrow. i think the leak was caused by a split in the diaphram letting water into the unsealed motor part of the valve, ill ask about the cap, thanks for all your help brianmoooore, ill put another message up tomorrow to tell...

i just pulled the valve up and it was on 4 pins, should this have happened.
