ECU Code Reader / Clearing equipment recommendations
I am after some advice on a ECU code clearing equipment. Initially I am after something that will clear the airbag light on the wife's 52 plate Mini. I have been online and found that it is a common fault with the connector under the passenger seat. There is a cheap unit (if you call £50 cheap) that...

I have 16"x 7 ET30 MIM's on at the moment with 205x50 tyres. They fit without any spacers.
Depends on what width they are as well.
On a previous car I had 16" x 7 ET 35 that needed a spacer on the front to clear the strut.

Very early ones had a different mounting for the sealblets, so also require a different parcel shelf to go with.

Re: Members with 323i,s.
A lot of the differences are more about the year model rather than it being just a 323. As Rav mentioned the front panel, I believe it was all the earlier cars Y and early A reg whether it was a 323 318 or 320 that had that front panel. Later A, B and C had the standard prefacelift. Same goes for th...

Re: aftermarket remote central locking
Best place in the passenger footwell. All the wires that you need to connect to are there and the control unit can be placed above the glovebox. There have been several posts in the Technical section about this. I know as when I fitted mine I copied the wiring description from one of them and it wor...

best to post a picture of your new plug. So that there's no more confusion as to which is up / down / right left.

Just remove the heated seat elements from your seats.
Then add them to the new set you buy.
By the looks of yours they need a lot of work to get looking good again.

Re: Fuel Tank being a c*nt
You really need to disconnectd the filler pipe to get it to drop properly.
I have changed 2 tanks in the past without dropping the rear beam. From memory once everything is disconnected you drop it from the front.

Early Fuel Pump Wiring
Hoping someone has tried this before :D On my 1984 323 it originally had an external fuel Pump that sits down on the N/S sill beside the petrol tank. However due to the bracket holding the pump in place rusting away and is now NLA, I have decided to fit an in tank pump. My query is this. For the ext...

Si,
I think your curent line of thinking is spot on ( especially as its family)
I would think something around 2k + 10% of anything over 4k if you were to ever sell it within the next 10 years. ( I would definitely put a end date on it )
