ive found a black wire under drivers side of the dash it looks like its been cut or its came off something,it comes from the roof down the drivers A post and it stretches all the way to the distibution block under the glove box, im wondering if this could be the reason why my rear demister doesnt wo...

ive fitted the front fog lights from my spares car, ive used the correct fuses and relays, it was just a straight swap once i found the fog light plugs that bmw hid away,
my question is,,, is there a warning lamp in the dash to let you know your fogs are on if so where is it?

jumped on it hard enough i guess
no i compressed the spring as tight as possible (i used 3 compressors) and it just fell out
so rear tommorow,,,wonder how that will go

fronts done, http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b284/sconnor/DSCF0002-3.jpg the o/s was a pain to do but the n/s was a doddle i didnt have to remove any ball joints just the caliper and the bolt attached to the arb thingy and it lowered down enough to remove and replace the spring now im starting the...

right guys im going 40/40, ive started stripping it down but now ive hit a brick wall
the steering tie rod is threaded (got it off) have to replace that, and i cant lower the strut down any further

just checked the site just copied this Madeira Drive itself is closed to through-traffic from 7pm on Thursday 25 September while the stage is built near the Concorde 2 venue. However, the road will be accessible from each end until it closes completely at 6am on the day of the show until around noon...

i think i sorted it, air lock in system got heat now (yeehaa)
but car was still overheating so i fitted new viscous coupling
and now ive got my whoosh sound back when it kicks in
needle sits around the halfway mark now

ordered new viscous coupling as thats the only thing i can find faulty while i was in there i pulled stat out and boiled it and it does open also the water pump has no play in it and theres no grinding noises so is there anything else i can check so hopefully its just the coupling and that will be i...

cheers guys i think i may have to wait till i get the new part from gsf, the only prob ive got with that is after reading other threads when guys have fitted a new one its still knackered and they have to send it back for a replacement because of the way it was stored in the first place that knacker...
