FAB in Newent, Gloucestershire. They specialise in BMW cylinder heads - that's all. All M20 variants used to be available from them off the shelf - probably still are.

Re: Right Hand Drive 325iX
I have one! It's a genuine RHD 325ix supplied by Cripps of Kibworth in 1987. I used to work for Grassicks in Perth and it is correct that they converted 6 325ix's around the same time as Cripps. Mr Grassick seems to think that Cripps also did 6. There was an issue with a steering component that was...

E28 M5 opinions
I'm looking for an E28 M5. My father used to drive an E12 and an E28 when we were kids and I have a real soft spot for them. I recently owned an E60 M5 and have previously owned E34 535i's etc, but my heart has always been with the E28. I figure if I'm going to have one then it may as well be the M5...

I had an E46 M3 in around 2003 if I recall. It was a 2002 model with SMG. I opted for the SMG because I found the clutch incredibly heavy on the manual. I have a V12 with a manual box now, and it's nowhere near as heavy or awkward as that was - so go figure. Plus at the time flappy paddles were new ...

Loving your work Si, not big fan of the euro ID number plates though. Doesn't Dave H have some of the original typeface for the old style plates? It would look good with some Sytner Nottingham logo addition too!
