I'm telling ya the fueling is fine. we took it up to 7 psi and ran 270 and the fueling was fine. In fact there was even some left over to pop a few flames. :D

Re: Just fitted turbo to 2.5 have a few questions.

Yer i'll deffo change the head gasket, i'd rather do it now before it goes and causes me more probs. plus doing it sooner rather than later means is just a straight gasket swap, i'll have that done in a few hours. Can sort my leaky oil return at the same time winkeye

Re: Just fitted turbo to 2.5 have a few questions.

Its a Greg so 89/90. So clutch wise im looking for something better than standard but i dont need to go as far as a 6 puck race clutch. No there is no bog at 5psi, we had it up to 7psi with no probs. Theres still some more there the fueling is spot on. I havent even touch the spark tables yet. its r...

Just fitted turbo to 2.5 have a few questions.

Hi, Just completed the fitting of the turbo and megas squirt. I have had it all mapped and runs really sweet. All i have done so far is fitted the turbo and ancillaries, fitted ms2 extra and got it running. I have done nothing to the engine yet. I have ran it round for the weekend at 5 psi sweet but...

decomp plate or use low comp face lift pistons. aand dave that ones ~3mm to drop a silvertop zetec to 8.1:1. been run up to 100 Deg water temp and held just fine, hasnt been tried in anger under boost yet but i see no reason for trouble. I'm sorry for being a pain aris but i'm really confused now (...

Re: Cheap Turbo ECU Possibly From Another Turbo Car?

yea thats true but its hard to beat motronic for a cheap and cheerful turbo conversion. all depends really on how far u plan to take the turbo setup on the M20. if its around 300bhp or less motronic will do fine unless u need the extra features available with a standalone setup. when/if i boost my ...

Re: where can i get e30 arps from

I'm after arp head studs, i have got a part number which will then require cutting down but i'd rather find the ones that fit straight in. As for the head gasket i was looking on a few forums and it seems the mls gaskets are better for turbo conversions. Maybe i have it wrong, if any one would like ...
