I've heard something about the fuel pumps being prone to clogging and eventually failing...

That was stupid of me... I was thinking "wider" so I really meant how LOW can we take the offset for lets say 7X16 wheels. Would we encounter any rubbing on a lowered vehicle (35-40mm) ? I would try to get the wheels where I want by ordering wheels with the correct offset (to put them where I want t...

I was wondering the same thing.
What is the maximum offset (ET) someone can do on lets say 16 inch wheels (on a lowered E30 318i) ?
The factory 15s are what offset ? I also like deep dish wheels but don't want to go over 16 inches.

Power Steering (1988-1989)

Can someone help me ? I'm looking at a late 1988 early 1989 318i. It has the M40 engine, but it doesn't have power steering. Is this normal or is it fishy ? He says it's an Italian model. It's in very good condition, considering. When was power steering standard, or wasn't it in all European countri...
