E30 Zone

Hi All, I asked for an opinion on mine here on the zone last year I got very sensible responses and decided on an average insurance value of £15k however my insurance company knocked it back. I wasn’t sure what I could do so just accepted their value

Okay, so the weight thing is a red herring on my tyre rubbing theory. I think i'd better start with the bush idea as this seems to be a common wear and tear item.

Sounds like I been fed some duff info. I was told that there is a weight fitted in the rear somewhere that counterbalances the left hand side driver, this was not taken out when the chassis were converted to right hand drive for the UK market.

No I too made the effort with the language. please do not misunderstand I was not out boozing and acting the prat, just a minor "violation du trafic"

Lucky chap. I got the breathalizer stuck in my face. I was clear though.

The off side rear tyre rubs under acceleration. This is a 205/55/15 tyre on stock BBS rims. The same happens to my bk reps with 215/40/17 too. I have been told the "counterbalace weight" under the boot is still fitted whatever that is. The car has just gone through its MOT with no faults so I guess ...

Nice UK grey caged e30 spotted in Arnage while I was having my lunch though. Thursday or Friday IIRC was quite drunk.

My 91 Motorsport has the "old" 5 segment rear lights

The same dumb look I get when flashing up to warn about a speed trap.

Nope not many, like Fuzzy I rekon I only see a couple a week in Zumerset
