I have just ordered rear brake pads and discs for my 318i Lux convertible (K reg). I am not much of a mechanic but decided I would fit them myself using my e30 manual CD but when I went to the rear calipers to remove them....they are not the same as my book....the front ones are..but not the rear.....

Last time I had to look into this (about 7 years ago) I went everywhere and nobody could help and so I ended up asking BMW who quoted me about £1000 in all. NO WAY will I ever pay that for a tube of steel! It is not like my car is going to be around for long enough to warrant a new exhaust on it.....
