You need to be more precise on the unit. Post up a pic of the front. Dont try any more times until you know the exact process, you might get fully locked out.

Re: Sick of used silly prices!
Demand and scarcity is pushing up the prices. Its not unique to E30s, it happens to everything that people desire. In fact, I think on age, the E30 has been a slow mover. If you want cheap and plentiful, the E46 is there ready for you.

Don't pay too much for it, cars left abandoned are usually that for a very good reason. Tinker around with it, see if you like them, and progress from there..

Never had a wrapped hardtop or seen one. My only thought on it is that the wrap needs a clean smooth surface the adhere properly to the panel, so for a hardtop to be wrapped, a BMW oem one, there would need to be a fair bit of prep?

Lotus white when new was fabulous. I remember a Calypso Red car in the showroom at Orfords of Ruislip when new with that interior, delicious!. Sending overseas is for mugs Mick. Avoid it and don't get drawn in. Adjust your settings to exclude postal locations you can't be arsed to deal with. i.e If it ain't got a UK postcode, it ain't being sent! Amen to that. I get it all the time. "Will u send to xxxxxxx" I certainly will. Outside of Eb...

When businesses are selling old parts. its a gamble on both sides. Seller often cannot supply goods as new, buyer cannot expect goods as new. If you sell you do what you can with what you have. Most times, thats ok, but sometimes it isn't. If things go wrong, on the sellers part this is a new opport...

I don't know the Denver, but the switched power outlet is usually for the power aerial. Have a search on the internet for the correct power arrangement, you don't want any smoke!

Consider swapping over the cushions and bolsters too, if you have a doner seat with the correct lever arrangement and back cover with the correct holes in the correct place. Swapping the cushions and bolsters is not difficult. Note also, saloon/coupe sports seats have a slightlydifferent lever arran...

Made exactly the same, and as they are the last E30 convertibles made, have all the upgrades to make them less rusty, in theory. Just shows how rotten they all are really, but in comparrison to many other cars of the period, they hardly rust at all.

Seats are a large volume, so will work out very expensive. DHL almost works out best for me, their tracking service is the best, and fast. (UK to LA less than 48hrs) May be worth talking to buyer and see if he needs just the seat covers. You'll need to charge for the whole seat and a bit more for di...

I know it won't help you cheffy, but you have to remember everything broken from an E30 is now 25 plus years old, and will have 25 years of weather, wear and tear on it. Buying second hand parts from cars that are being broken is always on a best intentions basis, expect to do some work or restorati...

If you are buying after market ones, the connectors to the original loom might be different, so you'll have to change them. The after market ones need to be a similar shape, its essential that when you install the elements, that they are nice and flat, no kinks or doubling over the elements. This is...
