My mistake, it's the Bentley manual I was reading from.
Chapter 9, page 15 second diagram, Clutch pedal adjustment specifications.

Nothing to do with the cost Malcolm, more to do with the fact that I wanted the car back on the road Asap. Ordered 2 of the little feckers from the dealers, only to discover that they had supplied connectors for a LHD model, despite being given the correct part No. Anyway.... got master and slave in...

Got it out, in one piece. Getting it back into the new master could be a pain.
Don't suppose there is any kind of lubricant I can use, is there?

The worst thing about an E30 convertible is trying to find a good rust free one. Especially in pre facelift, 325i flavours. Car in question is a 316i touring with manual gearbox. Haynes says to check level whilst car is on level ground, my problem is that without having the front end up on ramps there is no way I can even reach the filler plug to undo it, let alone getting the new oil container anywhere near enough to to...

Wouldn't mind getting my paws on a full pacificblau interior myself.. O! and the green houndstooth :D I'll keep an eye out for you. I have a complete Green Houndstooth interior, the two door comfort variety and everything bar the drivers seat in Pinengrun in the four door version. How lucky am I. :)
