quite an easy fix! buy 2 new rubber o rings, push the tube down against the spring tension until you can move the top sideways and draw it away from the underside of the inlet manifold then pull it out and change the o rings, then lube them up with a smear of grease two aid refitting without pinchin...

my point wasn't harsh just seems rather more sensible to get it tested rather than keep changing parts in the hope of finding the problem and wasting money on stuff you probably dont need . i wouldnt call constant boiling up of the coolant a slight temperature related issue either if its doing that ...

sounds like a blown head gasket or a cracked head, had this on mine, changed absolutely everything and still no better, get it tested before it gets any worse

heater matrix could be clogged up. I had one like that it was bled o.k but now heater. try taking the pipes off any shuve a hose pipe in one and see if it comes out the other. if not poor some descaling acid in, let it soak and wash it out. i will try flushing it first, but if it doesnt work how do...

maybe this may help abit , shell bearings, piston rings, gaskets, oil seals etc, would be a few things i would be looking for.

cant you ask your mate for a quote to do them, i found i couldnt get the car high enough when trying to do mine and had to use two trolley jacks as well,

ive got poly bushes on my rear trailing arms and they were a bit of a pain in the arse to fit , took about six hours to do the near side with beam still on car but the other side has to be dropped to let the outer bolt clear the fuel filler pipe at the tank, had to give it to a garage then to do the...

cheers for the info, yes its the touring, will probably just find a better one from a scrappy as the lining started coming down in the back first but now its all the way upto the sunroof and just seems to be going even further
