If they have a 2wd dyno they can run your car.
It is always better to run haldex in 2wd mode.
Remove fuse 31 to put the car into 2wd mode and away you go.

There used to be one in my town, it was the only place to get rechargable batteries, I remmember when having rechargable batteries was like having a tv with a remote controller and no wire.

Re: Twin selectable ECU maps???

My god, are there any tandy stores around these days ? ive not even heard the word tandy since I was a kid and yes, as you said, they used to sell twin boards, even in plcc format 32 and 44.
Maplins come along as far as I know but tandy was like the spectrum 48k of the electrics stores

Re: Twin selectable ECU maps???

This is simple.
You use a 27c512 and write map one to the higher side of the chip and map two to the lower side.
You run a wire from pin2 of the chip to switch from h/l.
Upper bytes start 0000f in the source.

That's very nice. You can make a 335d give that sort fo torque quite easily. Transmission is not designed to take that sort of power though and won't last very long. Tuning needs to have a certain level of responsibility, it's not just about how much power you can extract. Sal I agree with you, but...

Re: chips

Customer feedback will be good, these cars are great to chip, the difference in feel of the car is superb from idle through max rpm.
Its not all about power, there are cars where we actually lower final power output to give better feel which sounds odd but is the case on quite a few cars.

I personally read the file in your code, it has ch|ppeduk in the last line 042F0 of the binary code. How do you write your own software ? Re: EEPROM Reprogramming

The cluster has a micro8 chip which needs to be either removed or have the code altered with the correct read.

On line 4 the code starts with chassis number and then milage, alter this, refit the chip and away you go.
